Fractalic Awakening

Before you download Tiera-Zon, let me tell you what it is, and why it is relevant to Fractalic Awakening. Tiera-Zon 2.7 is a fractal generation program by Stephen C. Ferguson, and is one of the programs I used to generate fractal images for my book. Because I am familiar with it, I can discuss it with the "voice of experience"; I've seen a number of other fractal generating programs out on the web, but I do not have experience with them.

The usefulness of these programs lies in their capability for illustrating the behavior and characteristics of fractals. You can study the self-similarity and iteration of fractals by using programs such as this one, and gaining a good understanding of those two characteristics of fractals will go a long way in helping you grasp the concepts in my book.

Besides that, you'll find that fractals can be just plain fun and an excellent outlet for artistic expression. The variety of images that can be generated is literally infinite. Thus you will have no trouble generating images that are yours, and yours alone.
